BMusTh, ARCT (Piano & Voice pedagogy)
Lynda Tracy has been teaching music since 1975 to persons aged 5 years to senior citizens, including piano, singing, music theory. Her training includes ARCT's in Piano Teaching and Singing Teaching, and a Bachelor of Music Therapy degree. As a former Registered Nurse, and retired Accredited Music Therapist, she continues to have a special interest in teaching students of any age with special needs. She is also an experienced accompanist for singers. Her wheelchair-accessible studio is conveniently located near the intersection of Guelph and Weber streets in Kitchener, close to route 18 bus stops. Outside of the musical field, Lynda holds a Master of Divinity degree from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, and before retirement spent five years on the pastoral staff of a downtown Hamilton church as the coordinator of their ministry to persons with mental health issues, the only congregational ministry of its kind in Canada.
